The Eurasian Economic Union Committee is considering changes to technical regulations on personal protective equipment, milk and dairy products, fish and fish products 019/2011, 033/2013, 040/2016.
The proposal to consider changes to the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) ‘On safety of personal protective equipment’ has been approved. The proposal includes a clarification of the scope of application of the technical regulation, requirements for personal protection measures protecting against water and solutions of non-toxic substances, as well as filtering personal protective equipment for respiratory organs and feet (footwear) against chemical agents.
An updated version of the lists of standards to the technical regulation ‘On safety of pressure equipment’ has been approved for further consideration by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union Committee to ensure the implementation of the technical regulation in the EAEU countries.
Members of the Advisory Committee also approved the draft program for the development of inter-state standards for the EU technical regulation ‘On safety of fish and fish products’. Similarly, the draft amendment to the program for the development of inter-state standards for the European Union technical regulations ‘On safety of milk and dairy products’ was also approved.
The Advisory Committee approved the draft Council decision of the Eurasian Economic Union Committee, which includes the current lists of products for which submission of a customs declaration is accompanied by submission of a document regarding conformity assessment with the technical regulation ‘On safety of low-voltage equipment’ and ‘On electromagnetic compatibility of technical measures’.
Members of the Advisory Committee also approved draft ECE Council Decisions, which provide for changes to Section III of the Common List of Products (Goods) subject to state sanitary and epidemiological supervision.
