The College of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided to change Lists of standards used for technical regulation of perfumes and cosmetics.
Decision № 110 “On Amending the Decision of the Commission of the Customs Union of 23 September 2011 № 799” were made on August 29, 2017. Firstly, it was established that the standards that contain general technical specifications for toothpastes would be valid until September 1st, 2019.
Secondly, the validity of voluntary standards of the Republic of Belarus with general specifications for liquid cosmetic products, decorative cosmetics products, cosmetic gels and creams was extended until January 1st, 2021. Thirdly, commission limited validity of standards that are determined the amount of yeasts and molds and that are necessary to ensure the technical requirements until July 1st, 2019.
Also, 42 new GOSTs were aded to the list of standarts, voluntary application of which ensures compliance with requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union "On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products" (TR CU 009/2011). These standards contain general specifications and methods of analysis for toothpastes and various cosmetics and perfumes.
In addition, List of standards needed to ensure compliance with requirements of the TR CU 009/2011 was updated with 13 GOST standards, which include methods for evaluation and analysis for toothpastes and different perfumery and cosmetic products.
