Russia's National Standardization Program for 2022 has been approved
The National Standardization Program for 2022 was signed on the basis of an order of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology. The decision was officially published on the Agency's website on November 2, 2021.
Record number of documents to be developed
The planned number of topics and standards to be developed is record-breaking considering the last 6 years. Work on over 4,800 standardization documents is planned for 2022, of which over 2,000 are to be approved in 2022. Moreover, the number of new topics to be taken up by the technical committees is expected to be as high as 1709. According to the head of Rosstandart, this number of topics and documents for standardization will significantly update the base of national standards.
Key areas of standards
The most important areas for the development of standards and regulations for 2022 are:
- medicine and pharmacy
- creating a barrier-free environment for people with reduced mobility
- information technology (IT)
- coal, oil and gas industries
- biotechnology
- aviation and shipbuilding
- uniformity of measurements
- non-metallic and composite materials
- protection against forgery
- quality assurance of services, works and goods
- energy efficiency and others.
Information on implementing the plan
The priority area of the created National Standardization Program 2022 in Russia is the implementation of national projects and government programs with the use of standardization tools. It is worth remembering that according to the standard GOST R 1.14-2017 "Standardization in the Russian Federation. National standardization program Requirements to the structure, the rules of formation, approval and monitoring of the implementation" The Federal Information System "BERESTA" is used when carrying out work on the creation of the Program in the mode of authorized access via the Internet portal.
