Fish and fish products became subject of uniform sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements.
In connection with entering into force the Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union “On Safety of Fish and Fish Products” (TR TS 040/2016), necessary legislation were changed in purpose of harmonization. In particular, uniform sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements were applied to various fish product traded on the territory of the Union and listed in TR TS 040/2016. Mentioned safety requirements were introduced by Decision of the Commission of the Customs Union №299 of 28 May 2010 „On application of sanitary measures in the Customs Union”.
These changes were adopted by Decision of The College of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 107 of 29 August 2017 “On amending paragraph 2-1 of Decision № 299 of the Commission of the Customs Union dated May 28, 2010”.
