Changes towards technical regulation about “Safety of perfumery and cosmetic products” (CU TR 009/2011) come into force at January 25, 2017
It was decided by EurAsEC to bring changes into technical regulations of Customs Union about “Safety of perfumery and cosmetic products” (CU TR 009/2011) after January 25, 2017. This decision № 91 includes following ideas :
New edition of the term “peeling” allows classifying the product more clearly, which is important for compliance evaluation. As well, this product must have state registration according to enclosure № 12 of CU TR 009/2011. Similar products must be also declared.
Compliance declaration schemes, such as 3d, 4d and 6d, are introduced to the technical regulation (CU TR 009/2011). Furthermore, each type of declaration scheme was assigned with a validity period (3d maximum 5 years, 6d maximum 7 years, 4d validity period ends together with the product’s due date).
Declarations, which were registered before January 25, 2017, without a due date will stay valid until December 31, 2018. Declarations accepted at same point, but with the expiry day, can be effective until its own deadline.
State University of Metrology of Belorussia developed methodical applications on how technical regulation of Customs Union about “Safety of perfumery and cosmetic products” (CU TR 009/2011) can be used in concern of added changes. It can be useful for producers, importers and consumers in practical activities.
