GOST R -ex certificate.
The certificate of conformity of Ex-equipment (explosion protection certificate, the certificate Ex, Ex certificate of conformity GOST R, GOST-ex certificate) - a document certifying that Ex-equipment meets the standards for explosion protection.
Ex-equipment is divided into two groups:
• Group I Mine Explosion products - a dedicated electrical equipment intended for the mines, quarries, mining and processing enterprises.
• Group II Explosion-proof electrical equipment for indoor and outdoor use, designed for potentially explosive atmospheres, except for the underground workings and mines.
Marking of Ex-equipment is made by the manufacturer. Simultaneously with the mark of conformity the manufacturer shall affix explosion-proof marking , specified in the certificate.
Documents required to apply for the GOST-EX certificate:
- technical description;
- manual;
- schematic diagrams, drawings, design documentation;
- ATEX certificate
